Shuttle Bus and Parama Boat

UNFORTUNATELY NOT RUNNING DUE TO THE FAST BOATS PRICE WAR HAS PUSHED THEM OUT, NO DIRECT BACKPCKER ROUTE TO THE GILIS ANYMORE.

PERAMA – Shuttle bus – Perama boat – Padang Bai to Gili / SengigiWas one of the most popular ways of getting from any where in Bali to the Gilis, (Kuta, Sanur, Ubud, Padang Bai, Candidasa, Amed, Tulamben and Lovina) is with the Perama Shuttle Bus and boat. This service runs every day and leaves Kuta at 10.00am to Padang Bai, where at 13.30pm the boat takes you direct to the Gili’s. Travel time is approx
8 hours but can take longer.

By Air

Silk air fly 4 times a week from Singapore to Lombok’s Seleparang airport in Mataram, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, journey time is 2 hours and 40 minutes.

There are also daily flights from Jakarta, Surabaya, Jogjakarta, Komodo and Bali.

Flight time from Bali to Mataram is only 25 minutes and there are currently three airlines operating daily schedules for this route.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS from MATARAM to either 3 GILI ISLANDS

We can also arrange a car and driver to meet you at the arrivals terminal and take you the 40 mins ride either via Monkey Forest road or the spectacular coastal road to Teluk Nara, a small secluded bay, where our speedboat will take you to any of the three Gili islands. Or alternatively to bangsal harbour where we will help you charter your own local Jekung outrigger fishing boat.

For all local boat tickets please buy them at the official concrete buildings at
the harbours, they are run by the KOPERASSI KARYA BAHARI.

ALL ticket offices display prices clearly on a notice board.

Public boat transport information

Public boats leave all day between Bangsal and the 3 islands, boats leave when they are full and the price is Rp8,000.

However you can buy all the remaining tickets and then the boat will leave.

PLS NOTE: BANGSAL harbour can be busy and has many street sellers,

DO NOT let someone carry your bag without first haggling on a price.

DO NOT leave valuable items on display or your bags unattended.
