Island Promotions terms and conditions

RESERVATIONS POLICY

In order for us to confirm your booking, clients are required to pay in full a minimum 2 weeks prior to the date of travel for any transport bookings.

For accomodation bookings we require a minimum of 1 nights deposit, 50% or full payment depending on the individual hotels own terms and conditions, at least 30 days prior to stay.

Island Promotions will hold a reservation for up to three days at a client's request, to allow the client time to send a deposit payment. The full amount of the deposit (or the full amount of the booking if the booking is made within 30 days of date of arrival/ departure) must be received before we can confirm your booking. If confirmation is not received within the three days all booked rooms, transport arrangements or activities will be automatically released for re-sale.

Cancellation Policy for Deposit Payments

After making a deposit with us your booking is secured and you will receive a confirmation voucher as proof of payment. If you wish to cancel that booking please see the following cancellation charges:

Cancellation Policy:

No cancellation fee will be charged on cancellations received two weeks prior to arrival date (regular season) and 30 days prior to arrival date during high season.

For cancellations received within two week prior to arrival is subject to 50% of the full amount (less transfer fees) of the total of the rooms booked.

For cancellations received within one week prior to arrival, or in the event of no show, 100% from the total invoice (less transfer fees) will be charged.
Cancellations should be made in writing.

PAYMENT METHOD

Clients can pay instantly through PAYPAL either through the website or from a generated email from Island Promotions, clients do not need an existing account to do this. Cash payment and credit card payments are possible through our office in Bali. Bank transfers can be made to either Bank International Indonesia or Bank Central Asia in Indonesia, to LLoyds bank account in the UK, or Bank transfer to HSBC in Australia.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you have to cancel your booking within 30 days (of your arrival / departure date) for any reason whatsoever, your deposit / payment may be forfeited (in some cases we will try to offer a credit on a future booking). If the cancellation occurs over 30 days prior of your arrival / departure date, the payment could be used for a future booking within 6 months of your first booking. An administration charge of up to 50% may be charged on any cancelations for any services at Island Promotions discretion.

Transportation -

Full payment must be made prior to departure with a printed ticket as proof of payment and this ticket must be presented prior to boarding the vessel.

Passenger cancellation policy -

no charge 2 weeks prior to departure.
Between 2 weeks and 1 week 50% of the ticket amount will be charged.
Between 1 week and 48 hours prior to departure 75% of the ticket amount will be charged.
No show or cancellations 48 hours prior to departure the full ticket amount will be charged.

Cancelations must be received in writing and any refund will be less administration charges and will include less any transfer fees.

Island Promotions will not be held responsible for transport delays or cancelations due to a 3rd party carrier's late departure, late arrival or cancellation due to weather, technical or any other reason or difficulties encountered.

Island Promotions
shall not be liable in any way for the cost of any accommodation or for any alternative means of travel which may arise through cancellations or delays. Additional expense so arising shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the passenger.

Island Promotions will not be held liable for any compensation claims for costs incurred due to a 3rd party carrier's fault in delay or cancelation. Therefore there will be no responsibility taken for passengers who have any form of connecting transport or accommodation arranged if there are any delays or cancelations incurred.

(The 'carrier' refers to any 3rd party transportation company).

Island promotions
take every precaution to ensure safe travel, however passengers travel at their own risk. Passenger insurance is not provided and no responsibility is taken for any loss, accident, damage or injurys incurred during the clients holliday.

Island Promotions does not include any form of insurance whatsoever, so we highly recommend you arrange travel insurance for your own personal protection, and in case of cancelled transportation or unforeseen circumstances.

Departure time is 30 minutes after boarding time. The boat will not wait if passengers are late.

Journey time is usually around 2 to 2 1/2 hours in good conditions, but can sometimes take longer due to weather conditions or other delays.

Boat operations reserve the right to cancel or modify the schedule in the interests of passenger safety, and will not be liable for compensation claims.

Alternative arrangements will be made where possible, with either no refund or part refund. Full refund will be given if alternative arrangements are not possible.

Schedules may be re-routed via Padang Bai due to poor weather conditions or other circumstances. Road transport to/from Padang Bai will be provided.
