| Komodo safari “Ikan Biru” is a traditional Indonesian Pinisi sailing boat. Sleeping a maximum of 8 guests, dives are conducted in small groups for your enjoyment and safety. Ikan Biru provides a spacious top deck for guests to relax and dine in comfort. All cabins are air conditioned with hot fresh water showers. We also have a TV, DVD and music system. Ikan Biru has a fully stocked kitchen with fridge/ freezer and oven. Komodo, Indonesia is situated approx 250miles east of Bali. Komodo is world renowned for its Komodo Dragons, dramatic landscapes and world class diving. In 2005 Komodo was voted as “having the best coral in the world” for the 3rd year running. Komodo is a unique area, many different ocean currents meet here bringing with it an abundance of marine life. The dives here often have strong currents ensuring exciting drift, wall and pinnacle dives at all depth ranges. Manta rays, whales, dolphins and sharks are all found regularly in the waters around Komodo. Ikan Biru also caters to qualified technical divers. The boat is equipped to mix NITROX up to 100% O2 as well has the facilities for tri-mix and rebreather diving |
