“Ikan Biru” is a traditional Indonesian Pinisi sailing boat. Sleeping a maximum of 8 guests, dives are conducted in small groups for your enjoyment and safety. Ikan Biru provides a spacious top deck for guests to relax and dine in comfort. All cabins are air conditioned with hot fresh water showers. We also have a TV, DVD and music system. Ikan Biru has a fully stocked kitchen with fridge/ freezer and oven.
On January 24th 1942, the battle of Balikpapan took place off the south east coast of the Indonesian Island of Kalimantan.
Simon Liddiard and the crew from the Ikan Biru have successfully located the following four wrecks and will be running specialist technical wreck penetration trips, both open and closed circuit, in November and December 2007.

Tatsukami Maru (7,064 tons)
Sumanoura Maru (3,519 tons)
